My Teaching Philosophy

My goal as a voice teacher is to build voices that last a lifetime.

I specialize in the bel canto method, a classical technique rooted in beauty of tone, breath control, and vocal agility—skills that support not only expressive singing but also long-term vocal health.

Singing is more than performance; it is identity, expression, and connection. For students who carry their voices at the center of who they are, I aim to equip them with the tools to keep singing well into their 50s, 60s, 70s, and beyond.

Technique is essential—not for perfection, but for sustainability. Like any muscle, the voice must be used wisely and cared for. Bel canto’s focus on breath support, resonance, and efficient vocal function provides a strong foundation for lifelong singing across a variety of musical styles.

I teach with a balance of structure and joy, guiding each student toward vocal freedom, emotional honesty, and deep musical understanding. Whether preparing for a career or simply seeking a healthy, expressive voice, my mission is to help students sing with confidence and care that lasts for years to come.
